Xcite Car Leasing is a leasing broker dedicated to getting you a Xceptional price on your ideal car. We've worked in the industry for over 20 years and our team is dedicated to making leasing as straightforward and easy as possible for you.
You can learn more about our business on the about us page or meet the team and see the faces on the other end of the line.
Xcite Car Leasing is a trading name of Wessex Fleet, so you'll see some faces here that you might recognise if you've been a client of Wessex Fleet for a while.
If a car is available to buy new in the UK then we’ll almost always be able to offer a lease deal on it.
There are a few exceptions to this, for example supercars are very rarely leased because of their high value.
If you're interested in a car but can't see it on our site then give us a call on 0330 221 0000 and our team will be happy to help.
There are a lot of benefits to leasing as an individual but our top 3 are:
You will need to be over 18 to lease a car. This is because a lease agreement is a financial agreement and you need to be old enough to legally enter into the contract.
There is no upper age limit to leasing, though if you are retired or close to retirement age the funders may ask for additional proof of income or funds to make sure the financial agreement isn't an undue burden to you.
Here at Xcite Car Leasing, we make leasing as simple as possible. Our team will be there at every step to help you find the perfect car, complete the finance documents, arrange delivery and answer any questions you have along the way.
A lease agreement gives you exclusive rights to use the vehicle until the end of the contract. It includes road tax (at the initial cost of taxation).
If you add a maintenance package then the lease will also cover servicing, MOTs and any regular expected maintenance work.
Not included in a lease is:
Yes, as part of the application process the funder will do a credit check. This is to help ensure the lease agreement is the right product for you.
A zero deposit lease is the same as a 1+ initial rental, where the first payment is the same as the rest of your regular monthly payments.
We have offers available across all makes and models on zero deposit leases.
Maintenance isn't automatically included with our leases.
You can choose to add a maintenance package to the lease for a monthly cost. This will cover services, MOTs and expected maintenance costs. The specifics of what is and isn’t included in a package will depend on the funder but that will all be explained to you when taking out the package.
One you’ve gone through the application process you’ll be passed to our customer support team. They will take you through the finance documents with the funder and arrange for your new car to be delivered.
As we work with all of the UK’s leading funders there are varied processes for the finance documents to be issued and completed. Generally, they will be e-signed via the funder’s secure system but some may ask for documents to be printed and signed if this isn’t possible. Others may also ask for proof of identity and address as part of the process but our team will let you know if anything is needed.
Once you’ve got the finance documents we simply wait for your car to be in stock. If your car is already in stock we can then look at arranging delivery right away.
Something to be aware of when you are taking out a personal lease is the majority of funders have a 14 day cooling off period from once the documents have been approved, and the car can't be delivered during this time.
It'll be your responsibility to insure the vehicle, and your insurance will need to be fully comprehensive.
Please note that the lease company will be the registered owner and keeper of the car and you'll need to let your insurer know this.
You'll probably have to go directly to your preferred insurance provider to request a quote as the cars aren't registered until the day of, or the day before, delivery so won't show on comparison websites.
When your new car is delivered the driver will do an inspection of the vehicle to complete the handover paperwork. They may do this with you or do it before knocking, either way you should also inspect the vehicle yourself.
You want to check the car for any damage or issues it may have picked up on the drive to you. Whilst every effort is made to ensure your car arrives in perfect condition, you should check it for any damage or issues that may have occurred on the delivery journey. This includes looking at the exterior and interior, including the dash for any warning notifications.
If there are any problems we recommend taking your own photos of these for your records and to send us so we can resolve the issue promptly
